RULET (Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test) is a state level entrance test, organized by University of Rajasthan for taking admission into first year law programs offered in the university and its various constituent colleges. Admission to the university law courses are made through the merit in the entrance test. University of Rajasthan (i.e. holds the distinction of being accredited A+ by NAAC, India) is among the premier and oldest educational institutions in the state, which offers courses in a number of disciplines, at different degree and diploma levels.

Eligibility Criteria for RULET 2014
Candidate who wants to take up the entrance test 'RULET' must full fill the following eligibility criteria as per the university norms,

• The candidate should have passed 10+2 from recognized board with minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of SC, ST),
• The age limit for RULET entrance test is maximum 21 year of age as on July 1st, 2014,
• A candidate who has passed any one semester term examination in not less than four papers by securing at least 40% marks in each of those four papers and at least 50% marks in the aggregate of those papers shall be eligible for admission to the next semester.

• A candidate who has appeared in any one semester term examination and the result has not been declared may be eligible for provisional admission to the next semester if the teaching has commenced but such provisional admission shall stand cancelled if he could not get the requisite eligibility on the declaration of his result of the term examination in which he has appeared.

How to Apply for RULET 2014

• Candidate who wants to apply for RULET entrance test can download the application form from the University official website uniraj.edu.in/rulet.
• The RULET 2014 application form will be available from 7 June, 2014 onwards. Print out/down-load online application form to be submitted along with a D.D. of Rs. 2000/- drawn in the favor of “Coordinator, RULET, University of Rajasthan” payable at Jaipur.
• The duly filled application form should be sent to "Prof. Mridul Srivastava, Coordinator, RULET, UFYLC Building, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur -302055" through by hand/registered post/Speed post before 26 June, 2014.
• Incomplete forms and forms without entrance fee will not be entertained.
• Forms received after 26 June, 2014 will be rejected without any correspondence.
• The dates of GD and PI will be dispatched with the admission card and shall be available on university website also.

Paper Pattern for RULET 2014

• The RULET entrance test paper consists of 200 objective type questions,
• RULET written test total marks is 200,
• The questions shall comprise test of language ability (50 marks), legal reasoning (30 marks), general knowledge (30 marks), general science (30 marks) and social studies (30 marks) and
• The test duration is 2 hours.
